Our Days are Full

Mostly they get along, sometimes they don't.

Breakfast with daddy. Only witnessed daddy hugs count. Rice cereal and scrambled egg. Raisins, milk. Pulling out most of the toys. Pulling out all of the toys. Taking turns. Pretending to be Zadie. Chasing big sister. Looking at books. Peek a boo. Climbing on mommy. Pulling at big sister's shirt. Nap time for little brother. Tea party. Mulan or Ariel. Pretending mommy's yoga mat is a map. Binoculars. A sister-sized tortilla. A tent. Awake time. Raffi songs. Tupperware lids on the floor. Trying to open rubberbanded cupboards in the kitchen. Colorful drawings of people blobs. Sharing without being asked. Climbing on big sister's bed. Playing with the stacking rings on the dresser. Pushing the Little People House off the table by big sister's bed. Falling off the table by big sister's bed. Cheerios. Baby oranges. Too much toilet paper; not enough toilet paper; hands washed under cold water. Please don't jump on the furniture. But that's gymnastics. You're the best mommy, but sometimes you're not the best. Nonono, but he touches the painting anyway. Let's go outside.Bathtime. But this is dinner. Pick a story. Brusha, brusha. Sister prays for more sleep. Family hugs. Sweet dreams, not dreams about lions.
